Small habits the Prophet ﷺ practiced with every drink. They’re on the bottle so you never need to remember them; the bottle does.

1. Start with Bismillah (بسم الله) — say the name of Allah before the first sip. Bukhari 5376 · Muslim 2022

3. Sit when you can, and use the right hand — drinking seated is preferred; the right hand is the Sunnah. Muslim 2020 · Muslim 2024
4. Drink in three breaths — three sips, pausing to breathe away from the bottle. Muslim 2028 · Bukhari 5631
5. Finish with Alhamdulillah (الحمد لله) — thank Allah for the water. Muslim 2734
